Why Independent Matters
Most agents in Orange County rent a desk inside a national franchise. The sign outside says a brand you recognize, but the agent is a contractor whose name is on it only as long as their agreement runs. Next year the desk might be someone else’s.
We own our brokerage. That’s slower and less glamorous — we don’t have a marketing department or a national referral network — but it means the person who takes your call is the person accountable for the outcome. Nobody hands your file to a junior agent halfway through escrow, because there’s nobody to hand it to.
It also means we can say no. If a listing isn’t priced realistically, or a buyer is about to overpay because they’ve fallen for a house, we’ll say so. A brokerage chasing volume can’t afford that conversation. We can.
